serious bonus points for background. the coloring job is lovely though could use some more shading like behind thack on the couch. overall nice piece maybe try to tighten up details if you ever decide to rework it sometime?

Thanks for the critique! I have to admit I rushed to finish this piece, it was taking me forever and when it comes to digital painting I never know when to quit anyway. I would like to one day rework this piece, I originally had a lot more planned, but what with life being what it is my art time has been almost nonexistent these days. Nevertheless, I’m touched by all the love I’ve been shown about it! Thanks again!

No, but I’ve been all over the US in various family road trips.

Uh….I want to say Kevin Jonas but I’m not sure.

This is a tough one. My dog, technically. But he’s more my baby than a possession. So…my entire bedroom and everything in it. Yes, let’s go with that.

5. What is your opinion on coffee?

It’s okay, I prefer tea.

6. How old were you when you learned to ride a bike?

No idea. Normal bike riding age, I suppose.

7. Do you believe in magic?

Heck yes.

8. Have you ever been on a cruise?

No, but I think one day I will.

9. How do you feel about bats?

Adorable. And they are the symbol of the best hero around: Batman.

10. Do you wear jewelry? What kind?

Usually no…I wear twisted gold hoops in my ears all the time and on special occasions I’ll wear a necklace or something.

11. Have you ever had a close encounter? If not, do you believe in ghosts?

All of my encounters (and I only clearly remember one) have occurred when I was on the edge of sleep. Nevertheless, I do believe in ghosts.

Happy New Years! This is a summary of my 6 years of drawing. I’m ringing in the new year by drawing a self portrait and then finishing a piece I owe someone…which seems appropriate. Looking forward to another year of art-making!

For Mickey’s Halloween Party, Kit and I went as March Hare and Dormouse, and although we planned to stop by Mad T Party, neither of us intended to get photos with the band members. Dormouse actually asked if they could get pictures with us. O_o

everyone’s face when he asked for a picture, though.

seriously one of the coolest moments ever and these two totally deserved it. those costumes. are actual perfection.

I couldn’t help myself. I tried to draw the Dormouse pair too, but I’m just more comfortable with drawing Thackery. I should be doing other things. Awesome costumes are awesome.
